Monopitches & North Lights

We can provide glass or polycarbonate monopitch glazing to suit a variety of roof designs.

Roofglaze manufactures a variety of standard and bespoke designed Northlights, which are primarily designed to take in natural daylight from the north side.

Northlights can be manufactured with vertical to 60 degree pitched north faces and the larger sloping face can be glazed or clad to suit the application or design.

Spans from 0.6m to 9.0m, to any length
Building Regulations Part L compliant design to achieve low U-value targets
Frameworks and glazing bars are polyester powder coated aluminium extrusions as standard

Glass or polycarbonate glazing
Standard specification for glass is 4mm or 6mm thick toughened outer layer, with a 16mm argon filled cavity and a 6.4mm thick laminated inner layer with soft Low ‘E’ coating
Other options are available on request
Polycarbonate glazing can be specified as solid or multiwall, in clear, opal or ‘Cool & Clear’ for solar control.
Nanogel glazing option available for increased thermal and acoustic performance
