Ridgelights/Lantern Lights
RG Ridgelights provide an attractive means of introducing natural daylight into traditional or modern interiors. We have installed RG Ridgelights in restaurants, schools, public buildings, private dwellings and many other applications.
Lantern Lights can also be specified in a very wide range of configurations, based on our RG Pyramids and Ridgelights. Vertical glazing sections are added at the base to form the Lantern Light.
- Spans from 0.6mm to 7.0m with unlimited length
- Standard pitch is 30º, although any pitch from 22º to 45º can be accommodated
- Hipped and gable-ended designs can be accommodated
- Building Regulations Part L compliant design to achieve low U-value targets
- Frameworks and glazing bars are polyester powder coated aluminium extrusions as standard
Glazing Options
- Glass or polycarbonate glazing
- Standard specification for glass is 4mm or 6mm thick toughened outer layer, with a 16mm argon filled cavity and a 6.4mm thick laminated inner layer with soft Low ‘E’ coating
- Other options are available on request
- Polycarbonate glazing can be specified as solid or multiwall, in clear, opal or ‘Cool & Clear’ for solar control
- Nanogel glazing option available for increased thermal and acoustic performance
- Non-fragile versions are available

Ventilation & Opening Options
- Options are available for natural ventilation in accordance with Building Regulation Part F
- Automatic Opening Vents for smoke ventilation
