As part of a programme of sustained growth, we are now seeking to develop our National Sales Team by recruiting an ambitious National Sales Manager to help drive sales in our Flatglass division.

National Sales Manager – Roofglaze Rooflights Ltd

Role Overview:

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, account management and lead generation by visiting independent companies in the Home Improvement, Building and Roofing Sector, promoting and driving sales along with managing their portfolio of Key Accounts and delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop new business opportunities in the assigned sales area
  • Improve awareness of Roofglaze throughout targeted areas, identifying short and long term potentials and avenues of growth
  • Devising annual business plans & goals with each account and maintaining relationships
  • Managing accounts across the division, being a point of contact to customers and resolving any issues that they have
  • Develop strong and professional customer relationships, providing technical customer support as necessary
  • Meet targets and KPIs, as set out by the Head of Sales and Company Directors
  • Monitor and report on activities, keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as monthly and annual territory analysis
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge for both our products and competitor products
  • Develop knowledge of regulations and standards relevant for installing glass rooflights
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Collecting and communicating customer requirements to all necessary departments
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of relevant marketing campaigns

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience and understanding of the industry would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Strong track record of closing deals and meeting targets in a similar focused environment
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Willing to work remotely and manage your own workload
  • Thorough understanding of margin criteria
  • Sophisticated, confident sales and presentation style
  • Excellent written and reporting skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • A full UK driving licence and use of your own car is essential for this role

Salary: £ Negotiable basic salary plus an open-ended bonus structure
